Today we shall we find out about the 'Tries' market option in Rugby. We shall use the Melbourne Storm Vs Penrith Panthers game as our example.
1. Try 1X2:
With this market, you are predicting, Which team will score the most tries during the match. For example;
If you choose the Home option with odd 1.42, means the home team must score the most tries in the match for you to win your bet.
And if you choose the Draw option with odd 6.20, means both the home team and away team must have the same number of tries to win your bet.
And if you choose the Away option with odd 3.50, means the away team must score the most tries in the match for you to win your bet.
2. Try Double Chance:
With this market, if you choose X1 with odd 1.22, this means you win the bet if the home team scores the most tries at Fulltime or the tries at Fulltime should be the same as the away team.
And if you choose 12 with odd 1.11, this means you win the bet if the home team scores the most tries at Fulltime or the away team scores the most tries at Fulltime.
And if you choose X2 with odd 2.34, this means you win the bet if the away team scores the most tries at Fulltime or the tries at Fulltime should be the same as the away team.
3. Try DNB:
With this market basically you predict which team will have the most tries at Fulltime. In the event of a draw, bets made under this market are voided and the stake is refunded for that particular event.
4. Try Handicap 0:1:
With this market, Home team (0:1), Home team starts with a -1 point disadvantage. Essentially, the team with the 0 handicap has to win by more than 1 point for the bet to be successful.
Then Draw (0:1), the result of this bet will be a draw if the final score difference between the two teams is exactly 1 point in favor of the team with the handicap. So, if the team with the -1 point handicap wins by 1 point, the bet is considered a draw.
With this market, Away team (0:1), the away team is given a 1-point advantage at the start of the game. This means that for betting purposes, the away team starts with a 1-point lead, and the result will be based on the final score difference with that 1-point advantage factored in. If the away team wins by 1 point or more, the bet is successful.
5. Tries O/U:
With these two markets, they refer to the total number of tries scored in the match.
Over 8.5 means the total number of tries scored by both teams will be 9 or more.
Under 8.5 means the total number of tries scored by both teams will be 8 or fewer.
6. Home tries O/U:
With these two markets, they refer to the total number of tries scored in the match by the home team.
Home Over 4.5 means the total number of tries scored by home team will be 5 or more.
Home Under 4.5 means the total number of tries scored by home team will be 4 or fewer.
7. Away tries O/U:
With these two markets, they refer to the total number of tries scored in the match by the away team.
Away Over 3.5 means the total number of tries scored by away team will be 4 or more.
Away Under 3.5 means the total number of tries scored by away team will be 3 or fewer.
8. Odd/Even tries:
With the Odd/Even tries market, you bet on whether the total number of tries scored in a match will be odd or even.
With the Odd selection, this means the total number of tries at Fulltime should be an odd number (e.g., 1, 3, 5, etc.).
With the Even selection, this means the total number of tries at Fulltime should be an even number (e.g., 2, 4, 6, etc.).
Woow, what a fascinating option for bettors who would love to try out and experience other betting markets in Rugby!
