Permanent deletion of account on IOS device has been available for customers on our platform. However, it is has now been made possible for any customer who intends to temporarily disable their account for a period and later get it reactivated.
Note that this is a self-service and the customer can get it reactivated whenever they feel ready.
Below are the steps to use when one wants to temporarily disable their account and reactivate at a later date. Please note, this option is only available for customers with the latest version of the app (1.1.4) of the IOS device.
Step 1
Login in to your Msport app. Scroll to the bottom and click on ‘About Us’
Step 2
Check the version of the App and confirm it is 1.1.4
Step 3
After confirmation of the version, click on the ‘settings tab’
Step 4
Go to the ‘account security’
Step 5
Click on account security and scroll to ‘disable account’
Step 6
Select ‘disable my account’ on the next page
Step 7
On the next page, give a reason on why you want the account disabled.
Step 8
The system will prompt you to key in your password to continue the procedure.
Step 9
At this stage, the system will send an OTP code to complete the process of temporal disablement. Note that on your screen there will be two options to choose from, one is (a) deactivate my account temporarily and (b) delete my account forever. Always choose option (a) for this process.
By so doing, the system will send you the prompt to deactivate the account. After clicking on deactivate, the login status of the customer’s account in BO will change to ‘’FROZEN’’. For this status, the customer has the option to get the account reactivated when ready.
Step 10
Go back to the login page and key in your account credentials.
Step 11
You will receive a prompt asking you to reactivate the account once more. Click on the option to get the account opened/reactivated.
Step 12
Finally, your Msport account will be logged in successfully.
