How to report a phishing site on Google

Msport customers are increasingly becoming victims of acts being committed by fraudsters as they have turn to fake URLs and phishing sites. We have the opportunity to report these sites to google and have them blocked for good.

Below are the steps to follow to make an official report to Google.

First you need to identify the fake messages some customers receive.

Copy the URL and open it in a browser

For example http://bit.ly/3AdLBZz

http://bit.ly

The interface shows a display of some promotions been run on the Msport official website. Customers might turn to believe this is coming from Msport and then fall victims of this fraud

You will then be asked to fill your personal details on Msport thereby giving them the chance to access the customer's account

After confirmation of the fake URL, you then report to google by typing the link (https://safebrowsing.google.com) in a browser so the site is blocked

After confirmation of the fake URL, you then report to google by typing the link ( https://safebrowsing.google.com ) in a browser so the site is blocked

Copy the link and key it in the URL section of the phishing page on Google

Google will confirm receipt after this is done. The more this is done the faster the site will be blocked for the safety of all our customers.
